between the closing agent, lender, borrower, seller and real estate
agents. Our attorney title agents review each title search to
ensure accurate property reports and title commitments. Our staff
will ensure that your lender’s closing instructions and requirements
are diligently followed so that we are able to prepare the necessary
documents to facilitate a seamless closing, and the timely and
accurate disbursement of funds.
Our staff of full time settlement coordinators and settlement
assistants handle a closing file from order placement through
closing and disbursement utilizing a highly computerized process
integrating title work, closing documents, and financial accounting
for each file.
All of our closings are conducted by the attorneys of Dornish &
Scolieri, P.C., which shares offices and common ownership with
Greater Pittsburgh Settlement Company. The attorneys have over 50
combined years practicing law. All maintain an active law practice
in addition to performing closings, to help clients with a wide
variety of real estate related legal matters.
You are able to schedule closings at times and places that are
convenient to borrowers and sellers. We have closed for a doctor in
the doctor’s lounge of a local hospital at 6 AM, before he was due
to perform surgery at 7 AM. We have closed in the homes of infirm
parties and held evening and weekend closings as permitted by
lenders to accommodate the parties’ busy schedules.
We maintain the latest computer software and hardware, with every
computer in our offices linked to the internet for fast and reliable
E-mail and Internet communication, including receiving loan packages
by E-mail.
